Dr. Romanth Waghmarae
Dr. Romanth Waghmarae is an Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist at the Advance Pain & Wellness Institute in Williamsville, New York. After earning his medical degree from and completing an internship at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, he finished his residency in anesthesiology at New York Medical College. While completing his residency, he served as chief resident in pain management and pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Waghmarae is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and American Academy of Pain Management. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor in Anesthesia and Pain Management at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Waghmarae is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pain Management, the International Association for the Study of Pain, the World Institute of Pain, the International Neuromodulation Society, and the North American Neuromodulation Society. He serves on the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists Pain Committee. Dr. Waghmarae also serves on the editorial board of American Journal of Pain Management and Pain Physician, and is a reviewer for Neuromodulation.
